Observability Engineer (Elastic)
Job Description
The Elastic Developer will design, build, and optimize search and analytics solutions using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). You will be responsible for managing large-scale data pipelines, tuning query performance, and building intuitive data visualizations for the business.
Responsibilities:
Design and manage Elasticsearch clusters for high availability, scalability, and performance.
Develop and maintain Logstash pipelines to ingest, parse, and transform data from various sources.
Write complex, highly optimized Elasticsearch queries for real-time search and analytics.
Create interactive dashboards and visualizations in Kibana for operational intelligence.
Monitor cluster health, manage indices, and implement data lifecycle policies (ILM).
Requirements
Requirements:
3+ years of dedicated hands-on experience developing with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats).
Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing RESTful API queries and working with JSON.
Experience with scripting/programming languages (Python, Java, or Go).
Solid understanding of distributed systems, indexing strategies, and shard management.
Language: Professional working proficiency in English and Italian.
