Part-Time Python/Django Developer
We are looking for an experienced Python/Django Developer to take ownership of an existing core system and its internal microservices.
The ideal candidate will ensure business continuity, code stability, and the evolution of our architecture, which includes inbound integrations for flight sourcing and outbound integrations for booking processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and evolve the existing core system and microservices
• Ensure business continuity, code quality, and system stability
• Develop and maintain API integrations (inbound and outbound)
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and technical constraints
• Provide technical ownership and proactive improvements to the architecture
Mandatory Skills:
• Strong experience with Python and Django
• Solid understanding of microservices architectures
• Proven experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP, external providers)
• Ability to take ownership of existing codebases
• Focus on code quality, maintainability, and stability
• Italian language proficiency is a must
• Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity
Nice to Have
• Experience in travel/booking/flight sourcing systems
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) or cloud environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
