BTP Developer (CAP Java)
We are seeking a BTP Developer with strong expertise in CAP (Cloud Application Programming) and Java to join our growing development team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring high performance and alignment with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain applications using SAP CAP (Java) framework on SAP BTP
• Design and implement cloud-native, secure, and scalable solutions
• Integrate with various SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs and event-driven architectures
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, architects, and DevOps teams
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
Mandatory Skills:
• Proven experience as a BTP Developer or Java Backend Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CAP (Java)
• Good understanding of SAP BTP services (XSUAA, HDI, Destinations, Connectivity, etc.)
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Cloud Foundry, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and OData services
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
• Experience with CAP Node.js or Fiori/UI5 development
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud
• SAP BTP or CAP certification
