Development Engineer / Technical Team Lead

We are looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer to guide and coordinate our software development team across multiple projects.

You will be the technical reference point for the team, ensuring code quality, scalability, and efficient delivery aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the software development team across various ongoing projects.

• Plan, execute, and monitor development activities using Agile/SCRUM methodology.

• Collaborate closely with the CTO to define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap.

• Act as the technical mentor and coach, reviewing code and guiding developers toward best practices.

• Drive the Agile process: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.

• Ensure strong alignment between technical execution and product/business objectives.

• Promote code quality, maintainability, and scalability through standards and peer reviews.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with 1–2 years in a technical leadership role.

• Strong hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, especially SCRUM.

• Proficient in at least one modern development stack (e.g. Node.js, .NET, Python, React).

• Understanding of modern software architecture patterns (microservices, API-first, modular monolith).

•Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Fluent in Italian (mandatory).

• Relocation to the UAE is mandatory (on-site position).

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• SCRUM Master or Agile Coach certification.

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Software architecture or DevSecOps certifications.

• Technical leadership or team management certifications.
