Mid-Level DBA PostgreSQL
We are looking for a Mid-Level PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in database performance optimization, system tuning, and problem solving, combined with strong technical knowledge of PostgreSQL and Linux environments.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing mission-critical PostgreSQL database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and optimize PostgreSQL database performance
• Analyze and resolve database issues in a timely manner
• Implement and manage system tuning and performance improvements
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to support data needs
• Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and system configurations
Mandatory Skills:
• Proven experience as a PostgreSQL DBA
• Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL database architecture and performance tuning
• Strong Linux system administration skills
• Experience with monitoring tools and automation for DB performance
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
• Proficient in both Italian and English (written and spoken)
