Senior DBA Oracle

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle DBA to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS infrastructure and database management, with a focus on Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

This role involves managing complex cloud infrastructure, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data integrity and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust database solutions on AWS infrastructure

• Develop and maintain AWS CloudFormation templates and manage resources via AWS Service Catalog

• Monitor and improve database performance, security, and reliability

• Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning

• Support Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB environments

• Write and optimize PL/SQL (Oracle) and PL/pgSQL (PostgreSQL) procedures

• Participate in the implementation and configuration of new database instances

• Automate routine tasks and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Python, AWS CLI, or Terraform (a plus)

AWS Experience:

• Advanced infrastructure management skills on AWS

• Proficient with AWS CloudFormation and AWS Service Catalog

• Experience in AWS monitoring and security practices

• Scripting and automation skills (Python, AWS CLI, Terraform are a plus)

Database Skills:

• Proven experience with AWS database services (RDBMS and NoSQL)

• Solid knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB

• Competent in PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL

• Experience with database optimization techniques and query tuning

• Hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining new instances
