UX/Gamification Designer

We’re looking for a UX/Gamification Designer to help us shape compelling digital experiences that engage, retain, and delight users.

You’ll work on enhancing user journeys while integrating gamification mechanics that add depth and motivation to platform interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile platforms.

• Integrate gamification features such as badges, levels, leaderboards, storytelling, and rewards.

• Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests) to inform and validate design decisions.

• Translate research insights into actionable UX/UI improvements.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the design process.

• Contribute to a mobile-first, responsive design system.

• Use design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and collaborative tools like Miro.

• Maintain a strong focus on user engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

• Support workshops and collaborative sessions (e.g., design sprints, story mapping).

• Proven experience in UX and UI design.

• Deep understanding of gamification principles and mechanics.

• Strong knowledge of user-centered design practices.

• Proficiency with industry-standard design and collaboration tools.

• Experience designing responsive and mobile-first web applications.

• Ability to communicate design concepts and decisions clearly.

• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS) for better collaboration with developers.

• Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude.

• Creativity, curiosity, and a passion for creating playful yet effective user experiences.

• Excellent collaboration skills in multidisciplinary environments.

• Fluent in English and Italian.

• Experience with LSM, LMS, or educational/digital platforms.

• Previous success implementing gamification with measurable outcomes.

• Experience in both startups and corporate settings.

• Skills in motion design or micro-animations.

• Ability to interpret analytics to guide and improve design choices.

• Workshop facilitation experience.
