Wordpress Developer
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team.
You’ll work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to create custom themes, maintain existing sites, and bring creative concepts to life using WordPress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites (custom themes and plugins)
• Convert Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch designs into responsive WordPress pages
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across various browsers and devices
• Work with ACF, CPTs, custom queries, and WordPress hooks/filters
• Implement performance best practices and basic SEO recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during planning and review
Mandatory Skills:
• 2–4 years of hands-on WordPress development experience
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with custom themes (not just page builders like Elementor)
• Comfortable using Git and version control workflows
• Familiarity with REST APIs and AJAX
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Good communication and time-management skills
Nice to Have:
• WooCommerce experience
• Familiarity with headless WordPress or modern JS frameworks (React, Vue)
• Experience with page speed optimization tools (Lighthouse, GTMetrix)
• Knowledge of SEO and accessibility best practices
