Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, management, and optimization of modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps environments.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code, combined with a practical, automation-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Manage cloud infrastructure and services, contributing to the design and implementation of architectural solutions.
Ensure operational continuity through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Optimize infrastructure performance, availability, and costs through automation, capacity management, policies, and rightsizing.
Design, manage, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
Implement DevSecOps and shift-left practices, including quality gates and security scanning within pipelines and pull requests.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, with reusable, version-controlled, and well-documented modules.
Manage containerized environments and Kubernetes platforms, including upgrades, scaling, networking, ingress, and observability.
Work closely with Cybersecurity teams to ensure cloud infrastructure security through hardening, access control, secret management, and governance.
Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, configurations, and knowledge bases.
Provide second-level support and troubleshooting for cloud and infrastructure issues, managing incidents and problems through to resolution.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or similar role.
Italian language
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
Strong experience with Docker, containerization, and Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Experience with PowerShell and/or Azure CLI scripting.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
Strong analytifcal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Strong ownership, communication, and prioritization skills in operational environments.
Nice to Have
Experience with SonarQube, including quality gates, code analysis, rule management, and CI/CD integration.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including:
Shift-left security
SAST/DAST
Dependency and container scanning
Secret management
Security policies within release workflows
Experience with AWS and/or GCP.
Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as:
Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
