Senior Devops
Job Description
Join our engineering organization and play a key role in strengthening our DevOps culture and practices.
You’ll collaborate with development teams to design, optimize, and maintain scalable, reliable systems—both on-premises and in the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
• Defining and improving SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes in collaboration with development teams.
• Enhancing observability, monitoring, and alerting across services.
• Improving the reliability and scalability of production systems.
• Contributing to technology scouting and continuous innovation.
• Promoting the DevOps mindset across teams.
• Mentoring and guiding less experienced colleagues.
Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure roles, including hands-on experience in cloud and containerized environments.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken); Spanish knowledge is a plus.
• Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitLab CI.
• Solid background in Kubernetes management (on-premise and cloud).
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GKE and IaaS components.
• Proficiency in shell scripting or a programming language (e.g., Python, Go).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• Experience managing virtualization environments such as KVM or VMware.
• Proven ability to tune and scale high-traffic applications.
• Experience in managing and optimizing message brokers, preferably Apache Kafka.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux systems administration.
