Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular)
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build, scale, and maintain high-performance user interfaces using Angular. In this role, you will drive the client-side architecture, modernize frontend tooling, and ensure secure, seamless API integrations. You will act as the technical anchor for the frontend layer, enforcing secure coding practices and delivering exceptional user experiences while collaborating closely with backend engineers and product design teams.
Key Responsibilities
Application Architecture: Design and develop scalable, responsive, and highly performant Single Page Applications (SPAs) using modern Angular and TypeScript.
State Management & Data Flow: Implement robust client-side state management patterns (e.g., NgRx, RxJS) to handle complex data streams, asynchronous operations, and UI states.
Security & Compliance: Identify and remediate client-side security vulnerabilities, strictly preventing Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and enforcing secure data handling and DOM manipulation within the browser.
Modernization & Tooling: Lead the migration of legacy frontend frameworks to current Angular versions, optimizing build pipelines, and modernizing NPM dependencies.
API Integration: Partner closely with backend engineering teams to consume RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient data loading, error handling, and seamless end-to-end functionality.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development, with a primary focus on building enterprise-grade applications.
Core Technologies: Deep, hands-on expertise in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS/SCSS methodologies.
Reactive Programming: Strong proficiency with RxJS, observables, and reactive programming patterns.
Security Best Practices: Proven understanding of web security principles, including Content Security Policy (CSP), CORS, and secure token management (JWT/OAuth2).
Version Control: Extensive experience with Git workflows, branch management, and collaborative code review processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with modern frontend testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Jasmine/Karma.
Familiarity with containerized frontend deployments (Docker/NGINX) and CI/CD pipeline integration.
