Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer

We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to design, develop, customize, and support solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP platform. The ideal candidate has experience developing extensions using AL, integrating Business Central with third-party applications, and collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver scalable ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
Create and modify extensions using the AL programming language.
Design and implement integrations with external systems using APIs, web services, and Azure services.
Customize reports, pages, codeunits, workflows, and business processes.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform system upgrades, migrations, and data imports/exports.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Prepare technical documentation and maintain development standards.
Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and end users throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide technical support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions.
Strong knowledge of AL programming language and extension development.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV migrations to Business Central is a plus.
Understanding of ERP business processes, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, or Warehouse Management.
Experience with REST APIs, OData, SOAP web services, and system integrations.
Knowledge of SQL Server and database concepts.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
Anforderungen
Requirements
3+ years of experience developing solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Strong knowledge of AL programming language and extension development.
Experience with Visual Studio Code and Business Central development tools.
Solid understanding of ERP modules, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and Manufacturing.
Experience integrating Business Central with third-party systems using REST APIs, OData, SOAP, or web services.
Knowledge of SQL Server, database management, and data migration.
Experience with Business Central customizations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Professional proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications are an advantage.
