Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes Engineer to join enterprise cloud transformation projects for a global system integrator operating across Europe and the US.
The role will focus on the design, deployment, administration, automation, and troubleshooting of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms in large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and administer Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
Manage the full OpenShift/Kubernetes lifecycle, including installation, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
Configure and manage Kubernetes workloads, namespaces, RBAC, operators, networking, and storage.
Troubleshoot complex OpenShift and Kubernetes platform issues.
Implement highly available, scalable, and secure container platforms.
Support application teams with containerization and cloud-native adoption.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
Automate infrastructure and platform operations using Ansible and scripting.
Integrate OpenShift with enterprise networking, storage, identity, monitoring, and security platforms.
Monitor platform performance, capacity, and availability.
Produce technical documentation and operational procedures.
Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps teams, and customer stakeholders.
Anforderungen
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration skills.
Experience with OpenShift cluster administration and lifecycle management.
Good understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage, security, and RBAC.
Experience with OpenShift Operators.
Experience with container technologies such as Podman or Docker.
Experience with Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform.
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD technologies.
Good understanding of enterprise networking and infrastructure.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
