Senior Web Developer (C# / .NET / Angular)

About the role

Our client is a multinational leader in B2B distribution of Information Technology and Consumer Electronics across Southern Europe (Italy, Spain, and Portugal). Within the Technology department, you will design and deliver web-based solutions in a Microsoft environment — covering the e-commerce portal, the corporate intranet, and custom internal projects. You will also manage day-to-day collaboration with fellow developers and web designers. Starting from Q2, the entire web team will embark on a major e-commerce platform renewal, migrating the frontend from AngularJS to Angular 18 and the backend to .NET Core.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web solutions on the Microsoft stack (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API)

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate internal and third-party services

• Work on both the B2B e-commerce portal and the corporate intranet

• Lead contributions to the Angular 18 and .NET Core migration project starting Q2

• Manage collaboration with fellow developers and web designers

• Write clean, maintainable code and drive code-review culture

Requirements

• 6+ years of proven experience as a Web Developer in structured companies

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Computer Science (or equivalent)

• Strong command of C# and .NET Framework ≥ 4.7

• Solid experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and REST principles

• Entity Framework proficiency

• MS SQL Server ≥ 2008 R2

• Angular (modern) and AngularJS, TypeScript

• Version control with Git

• Good written and spoken English

• Good written and spoken Italian (required)

Nice to have

• .NET Core and ASP.NET Core

• Message broker experience (RabbitMQ preferred)

• Document DB / NoSQL experience

• Spanish language skills
