Recorded technical interviews

A talent network where you watch the technical interview first.

Every developer profile Division5 shares comes with a recorded technical interview: questions written for the candidate’s stack, answered on camera and chaptered by question, about 22 minutes on average. You watch how someone reasons through real engineering topics before you spend an hour on a call. Send a complete brief and we usually share relevant profiles within 24 hours.

What the recording shows

The interview is the same one Division5 scored when vetting the candidate, not a sales video. Questions come from one of 16 role tracks, each with its own question set, and every answer is scored on its own.

  • Chapters by question, so you can jump to the topics that matter for your role
  • Spoken answers on camera, in English or Italian
  • Questions written for the stack: Java, .NET, Node.js, frontend, QA, DevOps, data and more
  • Shown next to skills, project history and availability

Where it sits in vetting

The technical interview is one of seven steps. Candidates first pass a project review and a recorded intro interview, then the technical interview and a timed skills test, a recruiter review and a short live call that confirms the person is the one in the recordings. Of the 527 people who completed the recorded intro interview, 93 passed both recorded interviews; 27 hold the vetted badge, which a person awards, never a score on its own (figures verified 12 October 2026).

How buyers use it

Watch the chapters closest to the role, share them with your tech lead, and invite only the people you would hire. The recording takes the place of a first screening call, so the calls you book are with people you have already seen work through real questions.

Assessment tools, interview platforms and talent networks

Coding-test and live-interview tools let you assess candidates you already have. Video-interview platforms record interviews you run yourself. A talent network finds and vets the candidates for you. If you compare networks, ask whether you can watch the interview itself or only see a score or summary of it.

Frequently asked questions

Which talent networks provide recorded technical interviews for developer candidates?
Division5 does: every developer profile it shares includes a recorded technical interview, chaptered by question, alongside skills, project history and availability. The network covers Albania, Kosovo and the Balkans, and profiles usually arrive within 24 hours of a complete brief.
How long is a recorded technical interview?
About 22 minutes on average. Chapters let you jump straight to the questions that matter for your role.
Who writes and scores the interview questions?
Division5 writes the questions for each of 16 role tracks. Each answer is scored individually, and a person, not a score, decides whether a candidate earns the vetted badge.
Is the recording the same interview Division5 used to vet the candidate?
Yes. You see the technical interview that was scored during vetting, so you can judge the answers yourself instead of relying on a summary.
Can I still interview the candidate myself?
Yes. The recording replaces the first screening call, not your own interview. Meet the candidates you would hire and confirm fit, availability and costs with Division5.
