    IT Infrastructure Programme Manager

    We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Programme Manager to lead complex, multi-site IT infrastructure projects for an international technology manufacturer.

    • Work arrangement: Fully remote

    About the role

    The client has an established global IT team and is entering a new phase of growth following a recent strategic investment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving infrastructure initiatives across the UK, North America and Asia.

    This role requires a strong combination of programme management expertise and technical infrastructure knowledge.

    The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with engineers, architects and technical specialists, challenging delivery assumptions, identifying risks and ensuring projects are delivered effectively.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage complex IT infrastructure programmes across multiple international sites.

    • Develop and maintain programme plans, timelines, budgets, milestones and resource forecasts.

    • Coordinate infrastructure workstreams across global teams, vendors and technical stakeholders.

    • Engage with technical specialists to understand infrastructure architecture, dependencies and implementation approaches.

    • Challenge technical estimates, delivery plans and assumptions to ensure realistic timelines and successful outcomes.

    • Identify and manage programme risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.

    • Monitor delivery progress and provide clear, regular reporting to senior stakeholders.

    • Ensure effective governance, change control and alignment with business objectives.

    • Support infrastructure transformation, deployment, migration and modernization initiatives.

    • Drive collaboration between engineering, operations, security and wider IT teams.

    • Ensure delivery quality, operational readiness and adherence to agreed standards.

    Requirements

    Essential Requirements

    • Proven experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects or programmers.

    • Demonstrable experience delivering projects across multiple sites, regions or countries.

    • Strong technical understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and architecture.

    • Ability to engage credibly with technical teams and challenge delivery assumptions.

    • Experience managing project plans, budgets, dependencies, risks and stakeholder expectations.

    • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience working with geographically distributed teams and third-party suppliers.

    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.

    • Availability to start as soon as possible.

    • Based in Europe and able to work remotely.

    Desirable Experience

    • Experience in a global enterprise or multinational technology organization.

    • Background in network infrastructure, data centres, cloud platforms, server infrastructure or infrastructure migrations.

    • Experience with infrastructure transformation and technology modernization programmes.

    • Relevant programme or project management certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2 or MSP.

    • Experience working with global IT operations and engineering teams.

    Contract Details

    • Initial duration: 4 months, with potential for extension.

    • Working arrangement: Fully remote.

    • Agreement: B2B
